Each capsule of Locid contains extract of :

Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra ) 200mg  equivalent to 1000mg powder
Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) 100mg equivalent to 400mg powder
Amalki (Emblica officinalis) 100mg equivalent to 400mg powder
Pippali (Piper longum) 15mg  equivalent to 60mg powder

Locid is a distinctive formulation useful in acido peptic disorders. The ingredients in the formulation are derived from age old  texts of Ayurveda which are further tested on modern parameters.

The formulation is free from metals like aluminum and magnesium and is also devoid of any untoward effect like belching, constipation etc. The formulation has multifold actions which are proved to beneficial in majority of acido peptic disorders.

The ingredients in the formulation exerts an anti pepsin activity and heals ulcer faster. The formulation also helps in abdominal spasms. It reduces gastric emptying time and improves fecal micro flora thus improving digestion. The ingredients are also used to relive dyspepsia and improve appetite. 

It can be further used in stress and drug induced ulcers, Z.N syndrome, peptic and gastric ulcers, hyperacidity, etc.

Diet control- Milk, Curd, Milk products, Tomato, Bananas, Puffed rice, Sago, State food, Fatty food, etc should not be taken.

For better results good dietary controls are to be followed as directed.

Side effects and Contraindications – Locid is safe for long term use. Patients with renal failure and hypernitramia must consult physician before use.

Dosage – One capsule two times a day before meals or as directed by the physician. Patients with gastric and duodenal ulcers had to take Locid capsules minimum for two months.
